Since it was Impeachment Day, I was concerned about protests and possibly our safety. We were in the area ALL DAY and didn’t see a single protester. Not one. I’m not sure what that means, but... not one?

The Capital was extra busy as it was Impeachment Day. We waited in line to watch the proceedings. Our timing wasn’t good as Speaker Pelosi was giving her speech so the line wasn’t moving. Lots of activity and stress in the air.
I think this was the old Senate. If not, maybe the old House chamber.
The painting depicts Washington resigning his commission. You can tell how large the painting is by the gentleman’s head at the bottom of my picture.
You wouldn’t have even noticed if I didn’t put it in the title.
