Jump on a train at Union Station in DC and 3 hours later you are in the middle of New York. This picture doesn’t do it justice, but I found out very quickly that NYC is hectic. Too many people. Not enough space. Everyone going a different direction.
Union Station in Washington, DC is easily my favorite train station. It is not only nice but it’s in a great location next to the United States Capital. There is something about coming out of the front doors and see the Capital, Supreme Court, etc.
I'm Michael Smith and this website is simply documentation of our travels over the course of 500 days. We are very lucky. We went bowling ... and some other stuff.
