You can get a lot done with $250 million. https://ny.curbed.com/2018/12/10/18134160/nyc-park-pier-55-barry-diller-construction-update
Ashton sat in the cold and watched these 4 men paint. I see on The High Line website that they finished the mural.
The High Line is an elevated park on old train tracks. It is an absolute must if you visit NYC. It also is a much quicker walk than using sidewalks.
https://www.thehighline.org/ This will go down as one of those places where we just didn’t get to spend enough time. It’s only a town of 42,000 and it sort of sits on a hillside above Lake Champlain. These pictures were taken at Waterfront Park, and I think our timing for most beautiful evening of the year was spot on. One of these may make my 20 Best Pictures.
Cooperstown really is what you think a small town should be.
This was a LOT nicer than I envisioned. Really not as “cheesy” as I thought it might be. It is one of the places I wanted to see since I was a kid and I wasn’t disappointed. I’ve really wanted to see it since Jim and Pam got married on a “Maid in the Mist” boat in The Office.
Robert Pershing Wadlow was tall at 8 foot 11 inches, but he carried 490 pounds like a champ. Doesn’t look a pound over 280.
A beautiful day on Friday, August 23, 2019 to kayak in Indiana. This is one of those activities that I would have NEVER gotten to if we were working.
