Butterhorn Bakery & Cafe, Frisco, Colorado. The best.
This one was Shannon’s dream. She’s wanted to do this hike since the first time we went to Breckenridge. We made it in a little over 2 hours.
These are part of the videos I send Ashton so she’s knows where we are and what we are doing. They aren’t always the best quality, but give her a sense what we are doing.
Our last hike in the Rocky Mountain National Park. We got up early and hiked before we had to check out of the hotel. It was so worth it. No lakes or waterfalls, just the beauty of the park. And the turkeys.
The Cub Lake Trail is one of the easier hikes we took. A different kind of hike compared to the morning on the Ute Trail, but still wonderful.
We didn’t see as many animals as I hoped in Rocky Mountain National Park, but we did run into some deer on the Cub Lake Trail.
After the Ute Trail, we needed lower ground. Hidden Valley is a great stop with restrooms, picnic tables, and a short hiking path.
I'm Michael Smith and I hope to have a very productive midlife crisis over the next 500 days. Some people buy a sports car, I'm going bowling.
