It goes from Staten Island to Brooklyn. I believe it’s the bridge where you see all the New York Marathon runners cross at the beginning of the race.

The picture seems odd without the Twin Towers.
I got this tip from someone on Facebook and I wish I remembered who. Never... ever... ever... pay for a tour of the Statue of Liberty if you just want pictures. The Staten Island Ferry leaves every 30 minutes or so and goes right past it. And it’s FREE!
It’s a transportation hub and shopping center just northeast of the 911 Memorial. It’s an impressive architectural design.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vessel_(structure) Jump on a train at Union Station in DC and 3 hours later you are in the middle of New York. This picture doesn’t do it justice, but I found out very quickly that NYC is hectic. Too many people. Not enough space. Everyone going a different direction.
