Shannon got REALLY sick at Panera in Chinatown on our last trip to DC. We like to walk by and remind her.
HipCityVeg in Washington, DC. We are now Shannon’s people. At least we were for a meal.
We split a hamburger and an Italian beef sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything was really good. Really. https://hipcityveg.com/menu/burgers-sandwiches The food was great and while the service took awhile (they had an employee not showing up issue), they comped our breakfast. Certainly not necessary, but very kind.
https://www.unconventionaldiner.com/ Our first stop in Washington, DC. It’s pizza. It’s math. It’s delicious.
I really didn’t think she would. 1/8 done with college. Time goes too fast, but my baking ability continues to improve.
Turkey Chili at Panera. Can’t beat it. Unless maybe someone else is paying.
If this year has taught us anything, we’ve learned it’s the little things. Like lunch. And after lunch.
One of our favorite breakfast places in the whole country.
It’s a southern thing. Solid recommendation by Ashton Smith. Oreo milkshake was delicious. It helped drown the sadness of the Blues loss.
