I was looking forward to this because in our previous trips to DC, the Washington Monument had been closed to refurbish and repair it.
I hope the Washington Monument looks likes this through the glass... because the glass is bulletproof and not just old.
I was fascinated with the chance to take pictures from inside the White House... to outside. And with the idea of who has stood at that very same window.
This is the East Room where they entertain in the White House. Surprisingly, it is a narrow room. Long but not very wide.
I don’t know the official name of this room. Hopefully, someone can help me out. I think it was the first room past the theater on the right.
