Paul DeJong at bat. Kyle Hendricks pitching. Cards lose. Cubs win. 81 pitches and a 4 hitter for Hendricks. Fast game but terrible ending.
A portion of every $1 the Ricketts Family makes with off the Chicago Cubs should go directly to Harry Caray’s Family. He made the Cubs a thing when they were the farthest thing from being anything at all.

 Shannon’s dad Dean was a BIG Chicago Cubs fan and one of his favorite players was 3rd baseman Ron Santo. Dean had a chance to go into the broadcast booth and meet him on my first trip to Wrigley Field close to 15 years ago. He told me it was one of the best days of his life.
 Tony and Jeremy invited Shannon and I to the Cardinals-Cubs game at Wrigley Field on Friday, May 3, 2019. Tickets were FREE and it was a Friday in May. Think Ferris Buehler without the comfortable. St. Louis lost 4-0 but any day at a ballpark is a great day.
 I needed something to give strangers when I ask them to take a picture with their dog. Something to make the situation slightly less creepy and awkward. Still creepy, but a little something for their trouble.
