Hallgrimskirkja stands guard over Reykjavík, Iceland. The Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Iceland is both a parish church and a national sanctuary. The concrete facade is a reminder of the Icelandic landscape. The organ is also impressive. You can see the church from all over town... and sometimes from the countryside so you never feel lost. Which I guess is the ultimate point of a church.
