President Washington’s portrait is the only thing to have continuously been in the White House since 1800.
This is the East Room where they entertain in the White House. Surprisingly, it is a narrow room. Long but not very wide.
I don’t know the official name of this room. Hopefully, someone can help me out. I think it was the first room past the theater on the right.
I didn’t get pictures of all of the First Lady portraits, but I thought this one was especially classy.
These are the Christmas cards from each President. I apologize for the bad pictures, but there were a lot of people waiting so we had to be quick. Ashton (eyes closed) is point at a card we think her Aunt Diana received from President Bush.
They are all beautiful expect the ones from President Trump. I hate to say it but they look like they were bought at Wal-Greens. :( |
