When I go to DC... and now New York... I immediately have the feeling I need to watch the National Treasure movies.
Shannon and I loved them both. Next: Mr. Rogers.
She has sat through the movie Field of Dreams at least a dozen times with me.
”Shoeless” Joe Jackson remarks about Ty Cobb’s desire to play at the Field of Dreams (1989), “None of us could stand the son of a bitch when he was alive, so we told him to stick it.” Shannon evidently feels the same. It is pretty much what you would expect. Great movie by the way.
Shannon had never seen The Big Lebowski. We fixed that by going to a Wednesday afternoon matinee. We both feel better knowing “The Dude” is out there.
Shannon figured out we could go to the movies in Mattoon, Illinois for $4 on Sunday afternoon. Win! The movie want quite as good as the book, but still really good. It will be a big hit on cable.
We went on Sunday, August 4, 2019 and it may have been one of the highlights of our 500 Days of Fun. We saw Hobbs and Shaw. Great theatre and experience. Very affordable and clean. I would go back any time.
FREE movie on the quad each Thursday evening in the summer. Who knew? We saw “A Dog’s Journey”. Movie and the setting were both great.
