While it’s no longer the office, it’s interesting that this desk (behind Shannon and Ashton) is where the minority party gives the rebuttal to the President’s State if the Union speech. Who knew?

Since it was Impeachment Day, I was concerned about protests and possibly our safety. We were in the area ALL DAY and didn’t see a single protester. Not one. I’m not sure what that means, but... not one?
The Library of Congress, which is next to the Supreme Court, was hosting a special display of cartoon art. The really early Charlie Brown was interesting to see.
It always amazes me that you can just walk around the Supreme Court. There is security, but the building is relatively open.
