The University of Alabama had planned on staying open through the Pandemic. Then they closed. Ashton and all the students were told on a Wednesday they had to be out of the dorms by Friday at 5:00 pm. We had planned to pick her up and head to Florida for Spring Training but that had just recently been cancelled. We still headed to Alabama and she packed what she could into her car. Things were getting weird.
There should never be a college or professional basketball game played unless there is a dog act at halftime. If I was President, this would be a law.
This was Kansas State’s first game after their “fight” with the University of Kansas. They had to endure Alabama’s student section constantly chanting “fight, fight, fight” throughout warmups and the game.
Our first trip to Coleman Coliseum. More of a gym than the State Farm Center, but not a bad seat in the house.
