Our last hike in the Rocky Mountain National Park. We got up early and hiked before we had to check out of the hotel. It was so worth it. No lakes or waterfalls, just the beauty of the park. And the turkeys.
The elk come out of the mountains about 5:00 pm and “hang out” between holes 2 and 3. I let them.
We didn’t see as many animals as I hoped in Rocky Mountain National Park, but we did run into some deer on the Cub Lake Trail.
This guy was working hard. The “brown part” in the upper left hand corner isn’t dirt... it is the reflection in the clear water. So clear.
Churchill Downs tour was one of the highlights of the year so far. The museum is wonderful and seeing the track and grounds is equally as impressive.
In my search for 50 pictures of random dogs I meet... #1 is a great one. Hugo the Dog in Oberreifenberg, Germany. Why am I in Hugo’s house. That’s another story.
