If this year has taught us anything, we’ve learned it’s the little things. Like lunch. And after lunch.

I try to post our activities in the order of when they happened because the whole point of this blog is to help me remember what we did and when we did it. Occasionally, a post gets lost or in this case hung up in my “drafts”. We stopped by the World’s Largest Truck Stop on our way home from the Illinois - Iowa Football game. I got gas. Shannon got candy. Everyone was happy.
I left my car in Paducah, Kentucky when Ashton and I returned from Nashville. Shannon was worried it would disappear, but I guess we got lucky.
Ashton has had the honor of dog sitting the Fiscus Family dog... Higgly. It’s always nice to have a do back in the house.
And a good friend to have. #CollegeGameday
Always fun to run with Josh Whitman, the University of Illinois Athletic Director, before a football game.
On my way to and from Paducah, Kentucky to drop Ashton off for the rest of her trip back to Tuscaloosa.
